Theres a bump like that around my neighborhood.

I hit it at 25+ (varies) and I continually think im going to bend a rim. I dont see it, because its about 6inches high, very drastic radius.. and... its not painted, matches with the pavement, cant see it at noon.

I've been meaning to go over there at night and spray it with white spray paint.... Just so that I know its there.

I know the city wont do anything about it. finger.gif

Feel sorry for the lambo owner..

In colorado, speed bumps are NOT sanctioned as "speed control devices" which means that any damage done to a motor vehicle while crossing a speed bump (regardless of speed) is the responsibility of the city or county that it happened in. This extends to parking lots too, but the damage is the responsibility of the owner of the respective parking lot.

Just in case you're ever having a bad day in colorado.

Speed bumbs have got to be a big problem for snow plows as well. Not a concern here in Texas or Dubaii for that matter, but in Colorado and up North, I bet that's the biggest reason.

It was actually based on a federal report on the matter. Most parts of Colorado either don't know or pretend not to.

A friend of mine damaged his TVR on a speed bump, and he pushed the matter until they paid him damages. He wasn't going too fast. The speed bump was also a "modular" type that had broken loose and jostled his car too much. And TVRs are just fragile.

Englewood county (if anyone in CO wants to argue with me) has NO speed bumps because of that specific incident.

Doesn't have anything to do with snow plows. Or atleast not to my knowledge. Most plows around Colorado are privately owned and responsible for their own equipment. You can earn a little spending cash if you own a truck that will fit a plow. And there are signs to indicate when a speed bump is coming up.
