Full Version: removing bearing races how to?

can I reuse the new ones after I remove them from the wrong rotors?

I doubt it...
but maybe?

I think you remove them with a brass drift.

but if you bang up any of the corner then I'd be hesitant to re-use at that point.

(you mean wheel bearings right?)

Using a medium sized STEEL drift (like 8mm) with a cleanly dressed tip, pound firmly in each of the slots in the rotor (each in turn) where the bearing seats. Going around a few times should knock the bearing out. Flip the rotor over and do the other race. Piece 'o cake! Install them in the other rotor. The Cap'n
