Okay,
I told the wife that since we are going to move out of the country I want to get all of the mechanicals sorted out on the car before we do.
I have a complete front end off of an '89 SC that needs to be rebuilt. I'm gonna have Eric Shea handle the calipers but can you guys give me a list of everything I'm gonna need to make it like new?
Thank you very much...

You're moving out of the country? Where? INS finally caught up with you? I can hook you up with a immigration lawyer. Good luck. Will you be taking the family with you? We'll miss you.
Cheers, Elliot

You're moving out of the country? Where? |
Yep, moving to Istanbul. The wife says she has given 15 years here so now it's my turn.
Not too bad. Retiring at 47.

I don't know.
Andy is digging through some old emails he had from a guy there that was involved with them. (You are digging right Andy?)

Okay, this is how dumb I am. Is Turkey part of the European Union? I'm wondering if there are any auto emission or safety regulations that you may have to deal with.

The move sounds exciting, that is an interesting part of the world.
How is your Turkish, Allan?

Will the steel lines between the caliper and the flex line work with A calipers or is the fitting at the caliper a different size?

Turkey isn't part of the EU yet. They have been trying for the last 10 years but politics always seem to get in the way.

It will definitely be interesting. I lived there for a few years back in the late 80's early 90's.
Turkish is very rusty.

This front end I have needs to be cleaned up and painted.
Do I need to use any special precautions when I get it blasted?
Plug or block off anything?
What about the torsion bars and the area they live in?
I am assuming I should shield the axles...
