I guess I am too "old school" we never had a "track map" ahead of time.
the whole point of an AX was that they were always new, never exactly the same 2xs. and you did not know what to expect until you showed up and walked/drove the course.

In the past few years in Zone 7 this seems to have been lost somewhere along the line.

I would like to go back to the old way.

That way the only person who knows what the set up will look like is the designer.

Guess I am old fashioned. wink.gif

Should be fun.
All second gear for me.

I've taken every corner several times before.

I can't wait.

Looks like a good 914 course with the go kart section included.

I'm with you on this one Dan.
I'm not too fond of "practice laps" either.
To me a big part of what makes autoX so fun is being "hot" as soon as you leave the line (or momentarily after).
Whatever, it's all fun.
Now if I can just put my car back together... driving.gif

I think the course map is actually a PCA requirement. I know that our rules out here in Northern California are unique to us but I recall a course map as required...
Not sure I will make this one Trekkor.. Boxster is in the body shop and I don't have clue when it will be out...
914 is getting closer but will be late spring early summer at best... May come and spectate...

Looks like a fun course....all second gear.... wink.gif

I think I'll be skipping the Zone 1&2 to get some rest. I'm currently traveling on business, making the tour of Atlanta, Huntsville, Tampa, Orlando, and West Palm Beach. Get back at the end of next week and immediately drive to Buttonwillow to play against the Viper Club.

Then 2 weeks later back at BW for the Coastal Driving School two day event and 2 weeks after that up at THill for the GGR TT. I've gotta see my wife somewhere in there! laugh.gif
