I have heard from several people that Easyoff works pretty well to take the clearcoat/anodized crap off the 2.0 fuchs... I figured i'd give it a try, anyone here have pro/con's about it? will it hurt the wheel itself if some gets on it?

thanks

It's fine, just spray it on full strength, and let the wheels sit in the sun til the bubbles stop.

Repeat as needed.

Just did it myself yesterday. Application X 2 got about 90%. The crevice between the lip and the spokes will be a problem. Really highlights what scratches are there. I have some - got some 400 and 600 wet/dry sandpaper tonight and will try to hit it later this week. Hit the spokes with a polishing wheel and jewler's rouge for about a half hour on one of the wheels. You can see the potential pretty quickly.

I prefer the scaling/patina that makes the wheels bright white, I've actually had compliments on it!
