Last nite was fun. It was a small turn out with only Dan driving his 914 to dinner.

We floated the idea of a Church of Formula 1 meeting on June 17th. That is also the end of LeMans (6am edt). The F1 race from Indy starts a 9 am local time, but it is on FOX so gawd only knows when they will air it.

So, chime in! I want Bloody Marys available and an unobstructed view of the screen. Other than that, I am W I D E O P E N!!!

We could also do F1 qualifying on Saturday, LeMans mid section.... Plenty of Rita's and Spicy Mary's for lunch and we can still all be home for Sunday's Father day festivities. Church of F1 is good for the soul. It starts at 10 am on Saturday followed by the Rolex sports Car series....

There is also a PCA Olympic Region sponsered car show that Sunday at the Clearwater Casino...

Yes, it is at Boeing. They have the Saturday and Sunday AM and PM runs. It will be put on by Torque Steer. I know I could do Saturday, and I want to do Sunday, but I think that would have to be in the AM run group. If you guys want to meet up there it would be good to see more 914s there. Hey Troy. Works for me. Traffic out Hwy 9 can be bad that time of night, right? How long you figure it would take from Kirkland/Bothell? What route would you take? Could go up Bothell/Everett Hwy and jump over Seattle Hill Rd if Hwy 9 is a bad idea.

You might want to take Woodinville-Duvall road to West Snoqualmie Valley (left), and then in to Snohomish on the backroads (it is a very nice drive). That's the way that I would go, but now I have a 6:00 PM meeting in Redmond, and I drove the 4-Runner today (a 60 mile drive to Mt Vernon on I-5 in rush hour traffic was not too appealing for me).

thats a nice drive. it's high bridge road and will come out onj broad way in clear veiw, take springgetty road off of broad way to avoid hwy 9. google it.

Unbelievable story tonight. We are still in disbelief... Of all nights.... They were filming a movie at Harvey field. And the humble old "Buzz Inn" became quite the hot spot afterwards. I can't believe this.... The luck of all Teener Tuesday nights. Nobody is going to believe our story about the skydiving babes, are they Troy?! Oh well. Unfreakingbelievable.

i can't remember what all the filming was for, all i was paying attention to were how the what ever they were wearing was staying on! especially after free falling and chute opening and landing!
it just defies all engineering and physics.
