It's reliable. The only problem with compairing his to mine on an AX course is that my cars suspension is WAY different. Really just need to drive it on the street to see the difference in starting and going through the gears. And then there's another problem in the comparison with me having a TB diff and MS 3rd and 4th.

I`ll be the judge of that

You're gonna love the LSD in your Westy. Daryl did one for me also - very nice upgrade.

I bought new tires and am planning on showing up with a 2.0-6 (if it gets out of the paint shop in time)

Honey will you hang the new closet shelves above the washer and dryer and then in the new hallway closet while your at it and the trim work needs attention,fix the new porch and finish the trim out side around the new porch ,clean the RV put the boat away,vacum pack all the fresh fish ,can you strait`n the garage,mow the grass,25people are coming Saterday will you clean off the BBQ and the back deck and pressure wash the breezway and when your done with that go do 40hours a week at work,and the kids will be at grandmas house tonite so come upstairs and eat me tell i scream :and then tell my toes curl ....I will get started on it this Sunday Jon I still need to get a few small parts before install and bleed.I should make it

Here is the build sheet. Jeff Hines built 2.2 with some head and manifold porting. Pretty simple huh?

I was hoping on making the 08/30/08 with my son to see if I could make at least one clean run ... but the teener just came down with a seized alternator/fan on the way home from the Thursday Alfa Romeo Club lapping day at Bremerton. Looks like I'll be pulling the engine/trans.

I'm out of town this weekend for a family reunion and out of state Tuesday/Wednesday on business. It doesn't look like we will make it. The M5 has some pretty tired suspension bits so it's a no-go also.

The teener performed beyond expectations at the track on Thursday (until one mile from home). I ran with two 1994 911's and a 275hp 1973 Carrera 911RS replica track car. I was expecting to be left in the dust ... especially since the 933s were far from stock and on Michelin Pilot Sport Cup tires, the 911RS was on Hoosiers and I was on Bridgestone SO3 tires (I was expecting rain). The relatively short course and the weight advantage of the 914/6 allowed me to keep up rather nicely. WOW! What fun ... a fast moving train of Porsche's for lap after lap.

Sorry that I most likely will NOT be out on 08/30/08.

My rat rod teener has not been on jackstands for quite a while but it had to happen sooner or later.
