I go into work once or twice a week in Woodinville from Puyallup normally from 8:30 AM to 3:00 PM. If your parts aren't to big and greasy, I could possibly meet up around lunch time and exchange the parts for you guys. let me know if I can help.

Anobody got stuff going on? My car is on life support right now, so I can't cruise anywhere, but I would like getting together with others who are doing work on their projects.
Or everybody could bring tools and a sawzall and remove the 1970 from my yard...

I drove the 914 in today so I'm up for meeting.
Troy, if it sounds like just a couple of north-end guys, maybe we should move it north so NORD doesn't have to drive so far?
Some place in Everett, theres a couple of cool little places down by the water front, Not Anthony's, but the little place close to it.
Or that place just next to the hotel, right on the dock.

No, I have a factory bar with drop links and brackets but I probably need new bushings. It's a '74 2.0 so the tabs are on the A-arms. Obviously the tank has to come out and drilling and welding ensue.

Here's a possible idea for tonight. Four years ago I bought Mahles w/new tires from a guy in Edmonds. He was also selling his 914 because of an ailment, don't know exactly what, that has left him wheelchair bound. He asked me to bring by the car to show it to him after I got it painted. I contacted him last week and am going out there late this afternoon with plans to get to wherever we decide to meet afterwards.
I would have to check with him to see if he's up to having a group of people show up, but I'm pretty sure he would be absolutely thrilled to have a bunch of 914 guys show up at his house. He has also recently purchase an Oly Blue '74 2.0 in unmolested original condition, just to have one.
We could grab a bite somewhere either before or after. What do you think?

You'll get the tranny thing figured out. I think Troy was on to the issue. Get that nose cone pulled and the problem will most likely become clear.
Garret is a really nice guy and his 914 is amazing! It still baffles the mind these "Barn finds" that can still be had.
I think NORD took some pictures and maybe will post some here for us?
I of course, left my camera in the garage after driving all the way home to get it.
I think it'd be a great day to gather up a bunch of the locals, BBQ at Garrets and have a fuel line replacement party on his 914.
