Mark, Marc, Garett, Michelle and Patricia. We all pondered the great question of antenas. Is there an actual factory location for them? All cars seemed to be in just slightly different spots when measured.

Hearing a totally stock, true bannana canned FI 914-4 2.0 was very cool. Brought back memories for me of my first 914 back from....1989 or 1990 I think? Not many un-touched 914's left out there.

You got some nice shots Dan. The backdrop in this pic is great. I'll have to remember that angle next time I'm out there. Garrett's place has so many great spots for photos...and we haven't even driven over the bridge yet.

There was a factory template to locate the antena hole but it was drilled by the dealer which meant the "Yard Boy" did it where ever he felt like!

Tomorrow, 6:30ish. My house. Bring beverages of choice and a few bucks for pizza. I'll order the pizza when I know who all is coming.

Having a 914 towed over and it is 9/14 afterall.

Would love to come but no chance tomorrow, but I have to do a Teener Tuesday soon in my house, I need some help with the Bumblebee. Wiring makes some problems, vacuum hoses, adjusting the doors, and so on. But the car is nearly complete together, interior is finished, just a few small things to do

I am back in Seattle for a 30 day spell and would love to come to a local event...but driving to Everett at 6:30PM is out. I can't handle that kind of traffic right now without shooting someone and here I can't drink and drive at the same time...Gawd I miss driving with a cold beer in my hand.

Paint is going to metal and new color goes on. I need to look everything over well to be sure the chasis is sound enough. Lids will all be glass as well as bumpers so that doesn't matter.

AND put some stickers on it! Your last car really was fast and it had stickers!!

Does anybody in this area have a parts car that could buy an engine lid from?

I will be posting my progress and some of the stuff I do but there is a few things I have been instructed to keep quiet

Stickers? Oh you bet there will be stickers It has to have a few for SCCA and then my sponsor wants a few.Then I was planning on placing a few of the vendors I use on there as well.

This car won't be driven on the street much though. The engine won't like that

I hope to be getting another 914 very soon for that though
