Transport as in get across town or ship?

The one I ordered from Porsche was shipped upright in a big ol' box.
On the side of the box was a little sensor to ensure it didnt get shipped in other than a vertical positon.

Transport the windshield about 150 miles.

Wrap in blankets and put in the back seat.

And dont put something heavy in your trunk with it... second the blankets in the back seat....

Gotta say Im not a fan of the Purple.

Funny, just saw a car today in sanded purple, as in needs repaint....it did catch the eye. Vote for blue.

I just tossed the last one in the foot of the back seat of the Dodge truck and drove it 280 miles. No blankets, no tape, just stood it up vertical and didn't drive like an idiot. Made it no problem an I met one of the more interesting buggers from the PNW crowd buying it.

EEEK...I'm out. IF she goes then she will need too much attention and I can't properly work or talk about 914's. She's simply a distraction. Leave her home.

Also....got windshield home without a problem. I'm not going to use it in my rebuild. It has a small ding and I simply want to start with a new one, especially after I saw my car with fresh paint.

Anyone need one? Make me an offer and it's yours.

Back in my car sales days I went to a Dodge/Chrysler training at Emerald Downs, we used that circuit area to "learn" (beat the snot out of) the SRT lineup. 1st, we drove ourselves around it in whichever SRT8 product we wanted, and then, later, a professional racer gave us a ride in the same cars... So amazing what those guys could do with those big heavy pigs!!

Several years ago we had a Teener evening at the A+W in Port Orchard. Had a fair turn out. Need to do it again when it warms up. Maybe then I can find out what the story was about Al with his 928.
