Prost might work. Are you thinking about lunch?
by the way, there is a separate thread for breakfast on the 25th - Tanglewood Grill in Gig Harbor at 9:14.
Jim, saw the thread with breakfast on the 25th but can't make it unfortunately. For 10/14 I was thinking about meeting in the evening for a beer or two, maybe around 7:30 PM.

I still intend to make the trip, at least an hour for me. I am going to try to get there a little before 7 and have some extra time in case the trip takes a long time. If I'm actually early, I'll get something to eat.
Anybody else with anearly ETA?

jim, i seriously doubt you are going to make it in 1 hour via the bridge. traffic will be nothing like driving to the swap meet. you might consider taking the boat from bremerton, avoiding I-5 altogether and using an alternative like 15th ave nw.

Not this time. Rush hour traffic is getting too heavy to tackle. Earlier in the day or on a weekend would make it easy for us in the South Sound

Wow, last post in the Teener Tuesday is from November last year, that has to change!
Who here has some experience with MFI, my -6 ran fine last time I drove after getting the transmission back in, now it does not want to start. I'm a bit lost finding the problem myself, it's kind of challenging to look in the engine bay while at the same time turning the key in the ignition
I plan to be in my shop Sunday most of the day so if somebody is interested in helping feel free to ping me, I can provide coffee, soda, beer, ...

Wow Juergen, tough crowd around here, huh? I checked with the boss last nite and looks like I'm free on Friday, so I'd love to come help. Not that I know anything about MFI. Doubtful I'll be off work early though. when you planning to start?

Brad, you are right, really tough crowd around here at the moment. Would be great if you can spare a few hours Friday evening, I will be at home around 5 PM I think. I need someone to help checking a few things on the car, mainly around fuel delivery and spark.
Everyone else is welcome to join!

Some of us grumpy old farts in the South Sound find that driving to Seattle on a week night during rush hour takes a lot of time and is not fun.
There are half dozen or more teeners on the west side of the sound and some in Tacoma that would probably like to get together for a beer/lunch or breakfast.
We had a pretty good breakfast in Gig Harbor last October that drew some fun loving guys from Seattle, Portland and Anacortes - so it can be done.

oh well sweet because im stationed in bremerton and just got my first 914 last friday. I know its on the verge of running its just being finicki... also i kinda am using the generosity of some friends to keep it in their driveway until i can get it moving under its own power or i find my own place with a decent garage to work on it at. sadly i fear the latter is more likely
