I am about to embark on the hell hole repair over the next week.

I have all parts but I am unsure as to how I should protect the under side of the battery tray and the battery support. I was hoping to find a way to paint them w/ some POR 15 that I have laying around was installed but HOW!?!

i WAS THINKING ABOUT WELDING THE SUPPORT TO THE TRAY AND THEN PAINTING THEM OFF OF THE CAR AND LEAVING THE LIPS BARE METAL FOR GOOD WELDING CONTACT AFTERWARD?

This is a one shot deal so advise is a now or never thing.

do everything that you said except leave the lips bare metal...buy some weldable primer... have fun
