Prt Scr

It's a button on the keyboard. It's directly above the "Insert" key if you're using a regular qwerty keyboard.

If you're using a laptop, then you have to search around the keyboard for "Prt Scr".

That just copies it. Then go to some image program and paste it, then save it.

It's just that one program that's not responding...

The way he made that art was by dragging that window around, so if you close the program that wasn't responding it should be back to normal.

Am I completely wrong on this one?

hail to the wonders of isolated memory segments ...

since the 386 CPU hit the market, they all have something called "Protected Mode".
each task will run in it's isolated memory segment (well, actually more than just one) ...

the CPU was maxed out at 100% when the setup task got stuck in a loop and it froze the desktop as well, but the browser was still running, as was the mouse (hail to interrupts!) ...

de-selecting the browser and ALT-PRTSCR did the trick, then ALT-CTRL-DELETE to bring up the Task-Manager, kill the setup task, kill the explorer task, open a new explorer task, start photoshop, paste clipboard into new document.

voila!

I misread that.

I had a virus that did exactly the same thing a few years ago...it would open browser windows till the computer crashed...no way to take a pic of that one...
took a few seconds...you just got to watch..

I thought his system hung...I like the pic...its a keeper...
