I was messing my 914 in the driveway yesterday afternoon when one of my neighbors came over to check out was going on. We got to talking and it turns out he used to have a couple speedsters a number of years ago.
He mentioned that he has a bunch of old speedster guages, parts and such. If anyone's interested I can ask him what he's got next time I see him.

Alright, I'll do what I can to work this connection. I don't know the guy that well and he just mentioned it in passing, so I have to be a little tactful about it.
I should see him over the next few days and I'll see what he says....
