This may have been covered in another thread, but if so I missed it... Did "the bad guys" get our passwords? If so, we should all change em, as they could really mess things up if they had our passwords. blink.gif

Speeking of that. Could someone tell me exactly what happened? I dont quite understand...
Brad Roberts
From what I have gathered:

They didnt hack the site, they used the server to send shit out. They hacked the .php code not the database code were the passwords and such sit.

Andy's the authority here, but I agree with Brad.

You mean like via our emails, the user computers like viruses (sp?) or using the site to host their data or porn or links or shit on the WWW

The site did not get hacked.
This was a long scheduled and planned upgrade to the newer versions of the software to Prevent getting hacked...you must have missed the memo...

anyways...you will now be pleased to see more features, multi language support, personal assistance from the automated admin, and much more...

the new 914club website is an AI program that is built to adapt and change color depending upon your personal mood, and the personal settings that you have set up in your profile...

So all the look and feel is still here from before, you just messed up your browser settings and need to fix those to see the older version...

It may take you a few weeks to fix it in fact, but keep trying..it will eventually work for you..you will see what you are looking for...

passwords are stored as MD5 hashes, so *NO* no passwords were compromised ...

they *may* have gotten your email address thought, so, *if* you see a unusual increase in email spam on that address (besides your usual porn subscriptions), please, let us know ...

no porn offers but lots for stocks trading for $.15 a share with short term projections exceeding a target price of $.22 per wacko.gif . don't know if this is site related.

I have recently, like last couple of days, started getting spam from banks I don't do business with saying I need to update account info. This morning there was one from Chase saying something about a bank I do do business with.

I don't open these emails, I just delete them. I don't do porn sites. I don't even do ebay anymore, too many crooks there these days. But I do searches when I need some info, run spyware and virus 2 times a weeks or when I think I need too. I will continue to just delete funny sounding email.

Just thought I'd let you know since you asked and I just noticed the increase in spam.
