In preparation for installation of the 3.2 into the teener, I'm cleaning up a few items: New SS fuel lines, welding the broken clutch tube, front oil cooler thermostat and brake proportioning valve.

I'm planning on replacing the stock proportioning valve with a "T" and installing an adjustable valve.

What type/brand of valve do other teener owners use?

The Good?

The Bad?

The Ugly?

Lever type ... Wilwood?

Knob type ... Wilwood or SBC or ?

What brakes are you using?

This one.

I've the lever style one. It works fine however it only has 5 or 6 detents. Plus when adjusting more to rear the feel goes from a positive click to loose. A couple of times on bumpy track the lever has jumped to full rear brakes, which lead to rear lockups.

IMO go with the twisty type. so long as it holds its position.

You may not need one with that set-up but you probably have enough rear brake to warrant one if you want one... I kinda like the set-em and forget-em kind that can take the place of the T.

I use a T with a similar set-up.
