I am being offered a set of 928 Phone Dials with the correct 23mm backspacing for a 914. What is a fair price for wheels in OK condition?

7" are cheap, the 9" are expensive (up to $400 a piece) ...

yes, very much so. but they're 16 and not 15 ...

i thought you said early.

to put those on your ride you would need 3" of spacer

and no they dont look the same - 8's have a whole extra inch of dish over 7's (early offset) so your 9's would have 2 inches of dish over a 7....

never said anything about offset ...

they would have worked, big spacers, yes. i thought about black centers with polished rim, i think they would look ok ...

never seen a 9 phoney, But I have 2 16x8's id like to dump,,er sell.

I have seen pics of a narrow body 914 with 15x7 phone dials on this site and if they fit 16x7 will as well. There are different offsets I believe, one for 928 and one for 944. All depends on the tires, 195 for sure, 205 maybe, as usual. Not certain but I think the poster of the 15's was
