i bought a bursch muffler from Bjorn
its paint it kinda scratched/flaking off
i dont really wanna repaint the entire thing if i can avoid it
i have access to a sand blaster and ceramic paint
is there something else i should do or use?

http://www.hpcoatings.com/ Take it HPC they are local. You can go through Karls if you want. Anything else will probably just come off.

any type of jethot , HPC or other ceramic co. (I use Xtreme 805-388-9983) will media blast that low temp stuff off, prior to coating it. Definitely do NOT run with that low temp paint--it did ignite in a customer car once

If my Bursch looked as good as that I would be happy. BBQ paint works nice on AC exhausts

i wiped mine down with acitone and painted it with bbq black. 1 yr old and looks good still.

Bursch should just sell their mufflers unpainted to make life easier.
