I stumbled upon the Chicago Region PCA website today. (Didn't even known Chicago had its own region.) I was perusing the online PDF newsletter and saw a couple 914s for sale in the classifieds. I thought I'd pass them along:
1973 914 2.0 Silver; Owned since
1975; many options/good condition.
$5,500/OBO eraymond@d211.org or
847.602.9875
1972 914-6 Conv Red/black 3.2
Webers/901; street/DE, all mods
done; steel flares/frt cooler/body
reinf/bolt in cage/911 brakes; Fuchs
7’/8’; Koni; turbo-tie; CD/sub
woofer; no-rust; over 50K invested.
$25,000/trades. Cliff Horn

Yeah, unless it was originally a /6. They didn't make very many in '71 and '72.

The price for the /6 could be justified based on the meaning of Conv.
If its conversion its kinda high, convertable its not too bad IMHO, they are kina rare

Glad you chimed in! I was afraid that you have had enoough of the "914 experience" already! (you know more fixing than driving!)

Ed Raymond has been in the Chicago Region PCA for many years, and I believe he took good care of the car. If someone is interested in the midwest, it probably would be worth a look.
