Minute Man National Park.
Not really well known, but important historically as the battles of Lexington and Concord were fought in the area. This is a house from the era.

Here are 914's on Lombard Street in San Francisco in July 2000. My car is higher up on the hill but you can see John's (VegasRacer) in its track decor just before the last turn.

"Groß Glockner" with it's glacier, the so called
"Pasterze" it's Austria's highest mountain as well as one of the highest mountains of the european alps (12,460 ft)
the detail scan is just to proof that there's my teener on the photo
sorry for bad quality, I had to scan an older paper photo ...

(there were almost all other Porsches from the early 356 to the latest 996

One of about 10 water crossings during the Iron Bottom (hey , these cars are meant for driving !) This was about 18" or more deep and ran about 8-10 mph
