Well it looks like SCCA has excepted my request to class the 914 in GTL. Both the 1.7 and 1.8. Now do I stop building the ITC car and go with the GTL car?

Interesting they require a roof and a windshield.... but I guess all newly classified GT cars are closed... I heard that somewhere.


Just curious, why GT and not production?

I asked to get the car classed because I thought it would give somewhere else to race 914. And if someone wanted to run GT with a 914 they would not have to spend alot of money builting a six cylinder.

Gottcha.... the 4cyl 914 in GT3 is woefully underclassed and would never be competitive without some serious weight reduction.
