going to buy jack stands (feel i have done enough damage from the top wanna get started from under). any special kind or is the standard type from like sears o.k. p.s. where is the best spot to put them.

I've always wondered about the firewall placement in that pic... think maybe they meant the engine mount bar?

Me too.
I tried to do it with my 4 and as I was lifting I could see and hear the sheet metal starting to give.
Never tried it again...

Lots of cheap tools made in China with brand names like "Chicago Electric" and "Pittsburgh" and "US General". Great selection, great prices, mediocre quality. But sometimes that's all you need to get the job done.

i don;t know if it really matters, but these also have the locking pin that slides through to prevent the post from accidently falling

they sound great but mayor bloomberg has blocked walmart from opening any stores in nyc. just because they sell guns. believe that? who needs guns more than we do.
