Simple question which I think I know the answer but just want to check. Don't have a repair manual.

Question: The gasket between the body and the top does not get gasket sealer? Just tighten down dry. Correct?

Thanks in advance,

Yep, no sealer; none required.

Also, when setting the float level(s) (opened & closed), set them with the gasket in place, taking into account its thickness.
Gint
That's correct. Gasket and *NO* sealer.
