OK... since I am getting very close to being able to drive my car, I now want to add an oil temp sensor so I can be sure that I am not melting down the engine.

My car did not come with one (obviously since I'm posting).

What do I need to purchase??? Besides the gauge (DUH) and sender.

Is this a plug and play kinda of thing. Do I need a different taco plate than is presently on the car (I did not look at it yet)?

Anyone have experience with the replacement gauge listed pelicans site?
SLITS
1.) Taco plate to mount sender in sump (or I suppose you could have a weldlet tapped and heliarced into the case).

2.) Wire from sender in taco plate to guage (ground wire).

3.) Guage

4.) 12 V + supply to guage
