I was driving allong and al of a sudden the tach stops working ... WTF.gif any thoughts?

Check wire on the coil. It can wiggle off and you will get no tach signal.

gotcha -- all the wires looked connected but I will chk to see if they are tight

Check connections on both ends.

I discovered that the hot wire on my coil was so brittle, that is broke off in the shrink wrap, and 'twas invibbible to der nekkid Iee.
