i am about to install my pilot driving light in replacement of the fog lights. any suggestions on wiring before I tear it up this evening (which color wire attach to which wire on the pilot light?).

Light bulbs aren't polarized. You can connect the wires either way. I believe the wires on the lights are white and black, and you may as well use black for ground and white for power. Use 14g wire.

My car did not come with fog lights, however when I added them the wiring was already there. I installed the switch and found the three wires for the switch. The switch wires on the later models are brown, red/grey, blue/black. In the front trunk there is a ground (brown) and a yellow/white to attach the lights. Hope this helps.
