Here's who I've got so far, not including people who'll show but aren't telling us. 39 definite's and 12 maybe's for a total of 51 cars so far. 51 cars!! There are about 6 others that I need to PM and ask again. So we may have over 57 cars showing for this drive!
Can the restaurant handle this many people?

Tough decision. I dont know how comfortable the drive from SD all the way to Big bear is going to be in a 914.
We will see.
Not sure what the exact plans are.. but I know some Porsche guy's in BB that own business'.
Do we have a lunch place..or dinner place?

Try from Riverside, CA to Moab, Utah, pushing it a quarter of the way through Bryce Canyon.
Actually, it really wasn't uncomfortable at all.

Have everyone waiting at their prospective on-ramps and jump on as you see a 914 drive by

Grow some balls?
I love the cars, but that doesnt mean I have to suffer in one!! As you get older creature comforts will start to have meaning.
How about I trailer a 914 to the event and drive it on the event and trailer it back?
When you catch up to me in number of miles driven in a 914.. then we will talk about me growing some balls..
At this point, I probably have more track miles than you do street miles in a 914!
I love SLITS map!!
Lots of dropped valve seats when people lift throttle on the downhill runs.. and it cuts off the gas (I forget which year Porsche changed this in the 914..74?)

SLITS amazes me! He drives this beater toyota truck with a broken down bench seat (stuffing comming out) 50+ miles everyday, and a 914 as his other driver. Yet he doesn't complain about how uncomfortable he feels. Not bad for an old fart.
