I am going to install an oil cooler and a fan . I would rather install it in the rear area of the car. I am not against putting it up front just would like some input.

3x7 would be fine.. In the engine bay.. wherever.... It'll be much better than no cooler..

I ordered this one from Summit, theres room above my transmission since I removed my trunk floor. I will post some picks when I get it installed.

I mounted a cooler right were the relay board "was" in one of my conversion cars. This kept the lines really short (remote oil filter adapter/plate). I mounted the cooler face up and had a fan pulling down on it. Worked good.
You could also do this on the battery side of the engine compartment.

FYI:
Dont hard mount it. I just ran across a 914 race car with a leaking Earls cooler that was solid mounted (not good) it cracked with fatigue and was seeping oil.
