running dual weber 40 IDF - on one carb at idle both accelerator ports leak - I have checked to float and its looks ok and is at the right height. only one of the 2 carbs does it and there is a small steady stream of gas all the time at idle. Need advice.

Might be too lean and the vacuum is pulling fuel from wherever it can. Used to be a huige problem with progressive solexes on BMWs and Audis. The Cap'n

Nope I bet you have the throttle shaft set by the idle screw too far open and thus actuating the cam on the accelerator pump.

Try synching your carbs and leaning out the idle to obtain faster idle speed with throttle plates closed more.
couple thousandths makes a big difference.
