I check the latest eBay cars every few days and saw this creation about two days ago.
I knew someone would post a link to it.

I thought it existed in Europe. Marketing some variant of an LE as an "S"
I read it in a book so it must be true.

Actually....they kinda did....the US Dealers did some literature on the 73 2.0 model and called them the "S".....the guys in the Faderland pulled the plug on it. So....there ARE some docs floating around on the "S"...more or less a legend than that Creamsicle LE that never made it.....

I think 'tis kinda cool looking. Very 80s.
I like the fact that guys can take a 914 and do stuff with it that makes them smile.
Like drop in scoobie-doo engines, or make funky body kits for them.
Of the kits that I have seen, that one seems pretty well sorted.
All that said, my car won't look like that. At all.

1) I had a black 73 2.0 and I was the 2nd owner. It was titled as a "914 S" when I recieved the title in the mid 80's.
2) Fork the rest o' these fools.
I like it. The stoopid 2nd tach would come off in 5 min.s. Other than that, no too badly done.

Those kits remind me of a Ferrari 308 in a kind of "I couldn't afford the real thing, so I made my car look like one" kinda way.
Which is all good, but they always look a little 'loud' to me.
Like leisure suits.
BTW, I think the side mirrors should be mounted higher.

The list of stuff wrong with this car is longer than my like list. how much is the bid? $100? I think this guy is in marketing. who else would do park in front of the dealership and then use those descriptives?

Its a Chalon.
I agree with ACB, tach and seats take seconds to rip out.
Change the mags for a OEM Porsche mag, and you take a lot of the Enzo out of it. Pop in a big 6 or even a water cooled 8, and you have a serious car.
I like it

Neat idea on the 912... putting a rotary in a 912 doesn't seem all that different from putting a Subie in a 914. I personally would have used a ducktail on the back, though... late model tails don't look right on long hoods, IMHO.

There are parts I like and parts I don't.
I like the:
grey seats and red trim in the interior
Cooling ducts in the rear
rear bumper
consol is OK
blacked out trim
flares are ok too
