I am looking for a 5 lug space saver spare. I assume 911 but are there other Porsche models that will work? What do you guys use with 16" wheels? confused24.gif

looks like a 15" to me....

I'd think you'd want one off a 911 for the offset (unless 944 spares used the same spare).

Does it really matter whether it's a 15" or 16". Wouldn't the outside diameters be the same?

Me screwy.gif Sorry Aaron drunk.gif
Now I see the 16" wheels are quite a bit more money.
Aaron Cox
do you need a 16" for brake clearance? (that is why a 944 turbo had a 16" spare)

Once again I don't know squat about Porsche compatibility. I have a 5 lug strut with 911 brakes. wacko.gif

15" will fit over S, M, A, and some boxster calipers....

944 turbo and some bigger calipers require 16"

i bet you have A calipers... 15's will fit just fine

Sounds about right, I want to store the spare in the front between the gas tank and the radiator. clap56.gif

one advantage to the 16" 911 units (at least mine) is that it's an aluminum wheel for the spare to save a few pounds (my factory jack is alum. as well)
