Speaks of a friends car in storage....... smile.gif

The car has probably been in her garage for 20+ years, and no one spoke of it until the neighbor saw my dad's car and said:

"you know, i think i know someone who might have one of those"

Turns out, it belonged to her ex, and all she wants to do is get rid of it. I am sure for a price, but can't be much. And it may not be much either. But we'll find out rolleyes.gif
maybe it's a six drooley.gif
I know it's yellow, so already it's faster burnout.gif

I got some more details.......

It's a 1974
Dad could not get behind the boxes to check displacement
It was too fast as a yellow car, so they painted it black
It has fuchs
no center console
67,000 original miles, never flipped
Mint interior
Has not started in probably 20 years
rust=unknown
it was running when parked

what would you offer? idea.gif
grasshopper
I would say I would tow it off for free and not charge them anything...lol
highways
I'd offer to take them to the West Coast Classic once they sign over the pink slip and you get the motor oiled up. burnout.gif
So.Cal.914
Offer 2000.00, you can always go up if turned down. Hell, it's just a parts car, right? confused24.gif

Always ask FIRST what they want....and then think about it and offer 75% less.....unless it's a steal at the asking....NEVER make the first offer....

Words of wisdom from a car dealer from the 60's......

"If you're not embarassed by your first offer, you offered too much."
