I'm in need of a throttle shaft coupler for a set of Weber 46 IDA 3C carbs.

Any recommended sources?

I was having trouble balancing the carbs ... now I know why.

Thanks

Use quality helm (sp?) joints. McMaster-Carr perhaps??

The ones that come with all the weber kits (CB, CIP1, etc.) are pure junk.

This is the only one I know of.

i think he is talking about the pieces that connect each butterfly to each other.....

for a SIX cylinder.

Try Pierce Manifolds, they have about the largest parts stock of anyone, although when I needed some float bowl plugs they were out as Gene Berg had bought all they had and used them up. I finally found the plugs at Motor Meister so try them second.

You would have to make new heavier rods to use my joints. Don't have a six here right now to see if they would work.

Aaron,

You are correct. I am in need of the part that connects the two throttle shafts (spindles) together on each carb. The IDC3A series of carbs have a two piece throttle shaft - one for two barrels and another for just one barrel.

http://youroil.net/weber_carb_parts.html - this site does not list the part (or I could not find it) and it does not seem to be shown on the parts diagram.

I'll post pictures later today.

Thanks
