Hey, thats my benz and there aint nothing wrong with it!

I had a great time as well, even with the unexpected hot Pittsburgh sun. Got to meet some new people and get reaquainted with those that I have met before. Too bad Pittsburgh is 3 1/2 hours away!!!

It was great to have some other ladies around too - thanks to Becky, Brian's sister, and Arianna (Hope that is right!), newto914s' (Sam's) lady.

The only part that I could have done without was the anxiety over Dr. Evil handling the saw. I am surprised that the day ended with everyone leaving with all of their limbs!

Looks like a fun time had by all.

Thanks to Evil's guidance - yesterday at my Buddy Root's place - I removed stacks from 4 trannys - in hopes to finding some good syncro rings, syncro bands and sliders : )

Sure coulda used some eye candy to motivate me - Root ain't much to look at if you know what I mean : )

Here is a first gear dogteeth - you'll never find one like this in a used tranny : (

You guys need a tour bus, or maybe a snap-on truck. Coming to a town near you to fix your tanny and cut up your car. Whish I could have made it out to Pitt, but I had to attend my yearly family picnic. So Dr.Evil I see the Benz but no new reports on the teener, what's up?

My 914 is needing me to learn more and I have no brain space left with a test on the 19th so it will have to wait until after that.....but I think I have the gremiln on the ropes.

Luckily the foot is okay. For those that weren't there...

The injuries of the day:

1. Tranny gets dropped on Dr. Evil's foot by Brian:
Quote from Dr. Evil after the tranny drops..."I will just keep the shoe on to keep the swelling down." Spoken like a "true" doctor.

2. Brian's hand loses a chunk of skin:
Quote from Brian after skin goes flying...(turns to Dr. Evil) "What did you do that for!?! Dr. Evil replies... "You told me to go ahead!"
(Brian was holding an allen wrench while Dr. Evil was using an impact wrench on the rusted on nut.)

3. Brian's loses even more blood:

(Brian while using the sawzall accidently hit the back of his hand on some jagged metal.)

Award for the most blood loss goes to Brian - - As it should be since it is HIS car.

Everyone got to blead a little.



And I had Dr. E tear apart 2 stacks that had first gears almost that good Jim.

So at the end of July I get my trans back all nice and clean and ready to mate to the brand new 2.0.

Hopefully by then I'll have the lon finished so I can bolt them in.
