What an awesome display of Porsche cars. Every model porsche was represented, including TRACTORS. The weather was AWESOME
This show is only held every other year, and the owner, George Maybee, has recreated the Gmund Factory on his land.
I was a little disappointed at the number of 914's on hand, but everything else was amazing. I had my hands full with my 2 kids, so I only took a few pics, but I know BRANT will post MANY more later.

there was a 356 between our cars, momentarily. when he realized his buddies saved him a spot in the VIP parking section, he moved.

QUOTE(TROJANMAN @ Jun 25 2006, 06:22 PM)
who are you referring to, paul?
the guy who owns the '49 gmund is the one with the -4 pick up.
I was refering to the guy that owns the whole place you were at today. So the guy that owns the Gmund reproduction workshop is not the owner of the -4 p/u.

I got a few..
some maybe a bit repetitive...
oh well...
here goes...
the SC RS..
wow cool car.
I've never seen a real one before.
this car was bought new from palo alto (I believe)
and probably the only one made (16 of 20) that wasn't raced.
as stated above its like brand new still with hardly any miles.
the weight.. holy moly... 2100
aluminum front fenders, hoods, doors
lightweight glass
apparently it could out accelerate the 1984 turbo in its year of production:
