maybe i am not being clear.....
the container that ataches to to the overflow on the 914-6 oil tank instead of being routed back to the intake manifold......

This could work......
We used pint cans and welded a drain plug into the bottom to empty it. Nothing fancy......
My favorite is made by the rubbermaid company. 1 quart + works well.
