the owner of the co says give him some estimates and he'll pay-up cash. white w/ the flash does'nt do show how bad it is. it's ruined. but no dam to fender tops. so off to ford and a couple of high end shops. then i'll get a good used one. i'm going to make some $$$ on this a-hole. any guess's what a new one , paint to match, and install est will be?

Kevin,
What is the year and model of the car? I'm not too good with American iron. Is that a Taurus?

i forgot about about your parts finder. is that for a raw hood? i should think the paint shop would get 2-3 for the shoot/install. i'll let the dealer give me the good news.

some sort of high bed on a truck. backed over the hood. a co-worker of my wife watched it happen and wrote down his plate #. he saw her and THEN he got out and left a note on the car. lucky.

Kevin, check out Canyon Falls Auto Body out in Puyallup. I'll get you the number if you are interested.
This is the place that painted my car. I saw him repaint a door (two tone) on an old chevy pickup and then work his magic to match the new paint to the old worn out paint of the rest of the truck. Could hardly tell the door was fixed. Amazing.

eric, every scratch you see is a huge dent the length of the mark. i can't have jeanne's car down for an extended time over this, need a white one. local pull-a-part is my option. hope i don't have to make a run to woodinville for a hood. az914, i have never experiensed a car nightmare(s) like i've had this past month. i figure i've exceeded the law of averages and should be good for 10 years.

I wish to hell someone had seen and written the license plate number of the person who backed into my pickup truck a few years ago. A-hole just drove off and left me with a $1500 dollar bodywork repair!

you think that's expensive? friend of mine just got the estimate from the ferrari dealer for a new hood. $5500. and it's tiny, like half the size of a 914-hood ...
