I have a six hour lay over in Texas at DFW, what is with in walking distance to

do here, so I don't go postal (I hate airports). Thanks in advance.

DFW is fairly large, not sure how far you'd get walking.

Six hours is a long time to hang out in an Airport. An hour was long enough for me in Denver.

Hell, if I'm in the area that day, I wouldn't mind swinging by there or something. Running to the DFW every weekend seems to be a habit of mine now. (World Cup party next Friday in Dallas!)

there's lots within a taxi ride... but nothing you can walk to... not in 100 degree weather anyway... and not in be back in 6 hours anyway.. .

What time of day is the layover? A short ride in a cab out the north end is grapevine mall or bass pro shop. But with the trafic and going back thru security that gives you about 2 hours to kill

If you get stuck at the airport, try a day pass at the American Admiral's Club or head over to terminal D which has some pretty decent places to eat or grab a drink.
