My car does not have a steering Wheel Lock. Is this something that would have been removed by the PO, or is it just broken?

Can it be repaired, or does it need to be replaced?

its a part of the lock cylinder housing.....

pull it out and see

it could be gummed up...it (the lock part is a pin ) slides out.

Pull wheel, drop lower dash pad, undo 4 screws for turn signals, undo two screws for lock, unplug wires from switch at back, put key in and wiggle lock out it comes.....you will then be able to tell if it's broken or gummed up. Broken - find a used one and transfer your lock tumber over........
