I just finished removing all of the dealer installed A/C including all of the hoses.
I noticed that they tried to make it moistureproof with seals and such, but it didnt work!
The worst area was on the passenger side front part of the rocker panel where the lines from the AC first run. this was packed with dirt and was very hard to remove all of the dirt. I removed what I could but I will have to remove this cover and prep and "fix" this spot cuz ther is some good rust starting there0.

Other than that there is the big gaping hole that was once the front trunk.

Is there folks out there who have totally repaired the areas cut for the AC?
Im guessin there is patchwork and welding involved.

fortunately I have another car to pilfer from.

The is pretty well clean except a bad case of middle rot

I know that the front trunk os there and is good I havent checked the font of the longitudinal area yet.
