I was under JLO today planning out the AC lines and was playing with the speedo cable. It doesn't reach back to the end of the tranny. How is it run through the center tunnel? Is there any place where it is clamped down? The cable would not budge although I didn't try very hard.

Thanks,

Bill P.

You will have to buy a cable for 70-74 chassis. The one you have probably goes to the EGR timer box and it probably doesnt have any slack.

Doh.... ohmy.gif

Yep...'75 chassis. I have a new clutch cable and a new Renegade accelerator cable made by Terry Cable that is longer than stock, including the bracket for attaching to the intake manifold, so a new speedo cable would be fine.
