I don't know if they've packaged the wrong part(s) in my package or what! But how the hell do they expect you to seal up the block adaptor plate without running TWO oil filters?

Posted pictures here....

Anyone seen this?

Maybe it's just too late at night.

uh... you have a sandwich adapter and a remote filter mount...

send the remote filter mount back....

all you need is the sandwich plate, oil lines and a cooler...

lines go from sandwich plate to cooler and back

Thought about that, as there still is room for the filter to fit on under it and still be above the lower cross arm.

Thanks!

Yes but it is sorta tight. I ran one for years on my car without a problem,

Isn't the sandwich adapter missing its seal? (should go in the groove around the top in picture 214.)

Also, the remote mount is missing the threaded portion that the filter would screw on to.

I had clearance problems with engine mount bar when using the sandwich adapter. There are shorter versions of the oil filter that will work, but that means less filter medium.

It looks from the diagram that you should have a simple screw on, block off adapter that runs to the remote mount. That's what I use so I can use the correct (larger) filter.

My $.02? you got screwed on an incomplete/incorrect kit. return it ASAP-est
