What would people recommend as far as shocks go?
I currently have KYBs on the back and the stock Boge on the front, but the Boge are nearing thed end of their lives. I have a fairly limited budget, so I would like to minimize the cost as much as possible.
What fronts would people recommend running with the KYB rears?
What would people recommend in terms of full sets to put on all four corners?
Any other recommendations that people may have with regards to suspension in general?
Oh, this is a street car used for very spirited street driving and as much autocross as I have the time for.
Any suggestions people out there have?
Thanks
anthony
Get Bilsteins or Konis. Hunt for good used if you can't afford new ones.

it all depends on your $$$$$ and intended use.

dude, chill out smile.gif

I said my preferance.....I've run the Bils, didn't like them, I like the Koni Yellows for a street car, they are not overkill and are adjustable if one needs them to be stiffer...got mine at a good price used, otherwise I'd have gone with Boge replacements

I haven't seen KYB's last a real long time. They're cheap, and better than no shocks, but unfortunately with them, you end up with no shocks again later.

The bilsteins I dont care for either.. abit stiff for me. I had koni adjustables in my 73 and liked them much better. Can't comment on the Boge.. think there is a Boge turbo model or something.. I guess it's alittle better than their standard. Might be worth looking into.

KONI Yellows will make your car faster

Ditch the KYB's fur sure.

Boge's are excellent if you're on a budget and if your not. It's an excellent insert.

I will have a full set of used Koni Red rears in the next couple of days.

I prefer Koni's set of full soft.

I run yellows. I like running soft on the road, then firmer on AX days. I also use them to fine tune in between laps
malaga_red75
Can the koni yellows be adjusted by hand, without removal??

yep, that is the beauty of them....open up the front or rear trunk lid and twist the knob...

I was looking for similar feedback the other day, but ran out of time.
Where is the best place to get the yellow's, availability and price? What can one expect to pay?

Thanks
