It's on the same side as the green wire from the condensor.

Black with purble stripe. comes out of a twin wire wrap.

What's it do?

I have one but I don't see where it lists color codes... just a bunch of black and white drawings.

Each page you see with the "graphics" has a page associated with it that tells you what each component is and what the colors are.

OK, I see it... looks like it goes into a regulator, spot 5, then spot 5 comes out as a green/red... then off to the tach.

I think I just need a poster size color chart for the garage wall. Or better yet, an electronic version that hangs there. I touch the wire in question and it lights up everything about that wire, it's path and component. Yes, that's what I need.

thanks guys

Every component on the "graphics" page has a number associated with it.

Here are the numbers for one of the pages:

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

you can't simply assume that PIN 5 on the rear plug is connected to PIN 5 on the forward plug!

you gotta trace the wire through the relay board!

PIN 5 on the rear connector (black/purple tach wire) goes to PIN 7 on the forward connector (also black/purple) which goes to PIN 1 on the tach ...

When the diagram gets real busy I use a straight edge and lay it along the wire

I am tracing down. Helps to keep from losing it in the traffic. smile.gif
