Full Version: Trunk pan replacement (how Much)

Hi guys, what would be the avarage cost to replace the rear trunk belly pan for the 914 parts and labour?

anyone know were i can find a rear trunk pan that cover the whole rear trunk including the crossmember?

Your only option for a full trunk is to get one out of a doner car.

How bad is this trunk? it looks like i can replace the back pan but there are a couple of scattered small holes just on the other side of the crossmember seams like i can fix those.Click to view attachment

Yes, that is fixable, mine looked almost as bad, do you have any pictures of the otherside of the cross member?

This is a picture after I cut mine out and welded in the new piece;

hey Lou, i dont got any pics i forgot to take them when i went to see the car but on the other side of the crossmember there were traces of tiny rust holes. were did you get your trunk pan?
