Hi altogether,

I´m new here in this forum and would like to introduce some of my products (made by myself, constructed by myself). Have been engaged with Porsche gearboxes (901, 914, 915) for nearly 15 years now. Doing mainly conversions of Porsche gearboxes into VW Beetle, but also am serving Porsche customers with my products.

I´ve engineered a sports shifter for the Porsche gearboxes type 901, 914 and 915.
This shifter is a complete new construction. It has an aluminium casted housing, is CNC machined and powder coated. The throw is 60 mm per gear (50 % reduction), it´s very precise and secure to shift. Strong spring gate inside for 1st / R-gear. Comes with leather boot and polished aluminium shift knob. Can substitute the original shifter 1 : 1 (no adjustments on the chassis necessary).

Will also be available for 914 sideshifters in a few weeks time.

Price is 425€ plus freight (32 € to the US).

I´m located in Germany. See www.bugat5speed.de. info@bugat5speed.de

Also have conversion kits from tailshift to sideshift in good condition.

Have an own synchro-sleeve for the transmission 914/901 for 1st gear. Costs about 700 € from Porsche in the meantime.

Nothing has to be adjusted in the car. The shifter can be changed 1:1 without any changes to the body.

Befor I engineered this one I made a shifter for Porsche-gearboxes in VW Beetle, Karmann Ghia (and others). This one came into the market last summer and is a great success and has been tested in more than 50 cars in the meantime.

For the Porsche-style-shifter a new housing was necessary. So a mould had to be done. The shifter is also working excellent and the customers from the first batch do all confirm this to me. The shifter was tested in 2 911s, before it was finnally released (one with 901, one with 915-gearbox).

Wanted to follow-up for Martin,

I support Martin on Sales here in the US, if you have any questions please let Martin or myself know and we will be more than happy to follow-up.

Incidenty Clayton Clark AKA Twystd1 suggested I reach out to everyone.. We are on the Germanlook.com forum, which as Martin mentioned caters to euro look beetles. Some products that may be of interest are the shifter (above), subaru oil pan for those with EJ series conversions, as well as our tail to side shifter parts..

If you have any questions on any products from our website please let us know..
