It may be fine did you plug it in to see if it works? ....Just because it has a hole in the case dosen't mean that it is bad.
Looks about as good as some that I have seen for sale on E-Bay.

4. Engman makes a better part
5. I think Eric Shea re-does those
6. Have you checked Pelican
7. Too far gone, part it out
If none of these help, buy a new one, but don't move it with a fork lift.
