I just got back from taking the 914 for a good ride.. Worked the car good going into the mountains and what fun this was... The car is running like I've never experienced before, after a long time going thought things, and learning the hard way. I just recently had a new cam and lifters put in the car, rebuilder of the engine put in hyd cam and lifter set up and the engine never did accept that setup. Car never would idle right, heal toe when stopped in traffic just to make sure the engine kept running.
Since replacing the cam and lifters back to the orginal way, this car smokes... this 2.0 has some balls now,,, impressive... car idles now at a smooth 800 rpm steady as a rock,, this car is the cats ass.... My Iron Mistress just had to spew about how great my teener is perfoming.....it's gonna stay that way as long as I'm alive...
