Rusty
Has anyone used these kinds of stickers before?

They're sold by omega.com and come in different temp ranges. For the price (14 dollars a pack,) they seem like a useful tool for someone who might not want to invest in a pyrometer to check engine/xmsn temps.

P.S. They're non-reversable. Once you cook a label to a certain temp, it'll stay that way until you heat it to the next temp range.

Yes, we use a similar product, or temp indicating paints on brake calipers, and on brake rotors.

I didn't think of using them on brake calipers. idea.gif

I have a package of them on my desk in the 225/250/275/300 degree range. I never knew such a thing existed!

I got a few from a UH-60 MTP who thought I might be interested in seeing them. Pretty cool stuff.
