What is the actual bolt pattern for a 73 914-4. Lookin at getting new wheels. I intend on autox the car so any info and recommended wheels and tires of choice would be great.

4x130mm, same as the disk-brake VW Bug.

The bad news: Most Bug wheels put the tires too far out in the wheel wells to fit decently-wide tires under stock fenders.

Wheel options have been extensively discussed; try the search to see what people have used. Usually stock 914 wheels are the best ones to try fitting 205-width rubber on.

Thanks. I figured it was gonna be little difficult to find some rims.

Fuchs and Pedrinnis will take a 205 tire and fit nicely.

If your looking for steel rims, there is a place that carries them in various sizes and offsets.
